Terms of Service
Effective: October 5, 2026
1. Who we are and what this covers
These terms govern your use of the Badger Airsoft app ("the App") and the website badgerairsoft.app (together, "the Service"), operated by 6mm Badger LLC, a California limited liability company ("we", "us"). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service uses YouTube API Services to verify YouTube channel memberships. By using the Service you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your Google Account data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with a parent or guardian's permission, and they must agree to these terms on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for everything done with your account.
3. What the Service does
The App helps airsoft players organise kit and loadouts, run drills and a shot timer, find fields and stores, and connect with teams and friends. Loadouts, gear, drills and timer sessions are stored on your device; cloud backup, social features and the field directory use our servers. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
4. Membership and payments
- Free tier. Core features are free with limits shown in the App.
- YouTube members. Members of the 6mm Badger YouTube channel can verify their membership with Google to unlock member features for as long as the membership is active. Verifying lets us read only your YouTube channel ID (see section 11 of the Privacy Policy); you can remove our access at any time at Google's security settings page.
- Paid plans. Monthly, yearly and founding plans are sold on badgerairsoft.app and billed by Stripe. Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Prices are shown at checkout; we will give at least 30 days' notice before a price change takes effect on your renewal.
- Cancelling. Cancel at any time from Settings → Account → Manage billing. You keep paid features until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are not automatic; if a charge was made in error or the Service was unavailable, email us and we will put it right. Any rights you have under consumer law are unaffected.
- Founding plan. Founding pricing is honoured for as long as the plan stays active and is not transferable.
- Buying in the iPhone app. In the iPhone app, Badger Membership is sold as an auto-renewing App Store subscription, monthly or yearly, billed by Apple to your Apple ID at the price shown in the app before you buy. It renews automatically for the same length and price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings (on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions); deleting your Badger account does not cancel it. Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases under its own terms, at reportaproblem.apple.com. The membership belongs to the Badger account you were signed in to when you bought it and unlocks the same features as a subscription bought on the website.
4A. Business tools (for venue owners)
If you have claimed a venue on Badger, you can add Business tools for that venue. With them you can edit the venue's page and photos; post events and announcements to players who follow the venue or call it their home field; reply to reviews and tips, and remove them; and list your services and prices (techs and stores). Claiming a venue and its "Verified owner" mark stay free.
- Price. Business tools cost $10 a month or $100 a year per venue. You also need a membership: a paid Badger plan or an active 6mm Badger YouTube membership. They are sold on badgerairsoft.app and billed by Stripe, not sold in the App. Plans renew automatically until you cancel. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to your renewal.
- Cancelling. Cancel at any time from Manage billing in your business dashboard. The tools stay on until the end of the period you have paid for. Your page stays on the map either way, with what is already on it. Refunds work as described in section 4.
- If your membership ends. Business tools stop working while you are not a member, and we cancel the Business tools subscription at the end of its current period, so you are not charged for tools you cannot use. We email you when this happens. Rejoin and add them again at any time.
- If you stop being the venue's owner. We may remove your ownership, for example if the claim was not authorised or the venue changes hands. If we do, Business tools for that venue stop, and we cancel the subscription at once so you are not charged again. Email us and we will refund the unused part of the period.
- Removing reviews and tips. Owners with Business tools can remove reviews and tips from their venue's page. Removed content is kept, and we can review and restore it. The tool is for content that is fake, abusive, about a different venue, or against section 6. It is not for hiding honest criticism. We may restore removed content, and we may take Business tools away from owners who misuse them.
5. Your content
You own what you create and upload: loadouts, drills, photos, messages, reviews, tips and directory edits ("Your Content"). You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and share Your Content within the Service as needed to run it, for example showing your field review to other users or delivering your message to your team. You can delete Your Content at any time; public contributions such as field reviews may remain without your name after your account is deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to harass, threaten or impersonate anyone; post content that is illegal, sexually explicit, hateful or that promotes violence; post other people's personal information; sell or trade real firearms or ammunition; spam; scrape or overload our systems; attempt to access other accounts; or break the law where you live or play. Airsoft equipment is subject to local laws and field rules; you are responsible for following them. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
7. The field directory
Places, fields and businesses in the directory are contributed by users, business owners and public sources and may be wrong or out of date. Confirm opening hours, rules and prices with the venue before you travel. Business owners who claim a listing confirm they are authorised to represent that business and that the information they add is accurate. Owners with Business tools are responsible for what they post on their venue's page, including events, prices and services, and it must be accurate. We may edit, merge or remove listings.
8. Safety
Airsoft is a sport with real risk of injury. The App's tools, including the FPS and joule calculator, shot timer and drills, are provided for information only and do not replace a chronograph, field rules, eye protection or common sense. Always follow your field's rules, local law and the manufacturer's instructions for your equipment.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue parts of the Service; if we discontinue a paid feature you have paid for, we will refund the unused part of your current period. We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the latest version, and we will notify you in the App or by email before material changes take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or that we are required to close by law. Sections 5, 6, 11 and 12 survive the end of your account.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 6mm Badger LLC and its members and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law allows.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any formal dispute, email us and give us 30 days to resolve it. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except that either side may bring an individual claim in small-claims court.

- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the App, such as your mobile data agreement.
- Questions, complaints or claims about the App go to 6mm Badger LLC at the contact details in section 13.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and once you accept them Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
